Facebook is "similar" to myspace, but it is definilty not the same. Assuming you are familar with myspace and the things you can do with it, I will tell you that facebook does not have the types of features myspace has. You can not pick your own backgrounds, add music etc.

Facebook is a networking system though. You can connect and "add" friends to your account. You can post pictures, leave comments, and send messages to other people. Facebook focuses on your profile information-such as interests, about me, etc. Everyone's facebook account looks basically the same. It also gives you the chance, like myspace, to join groups and set up events. One thing which is different is that facebook has a "home" page which comes up when you log in, advising you what changes have been made to people's pages, who added pictures, who commented on whose page, etc.

Facebook used to be for college communities only, but is now opento the public. Some people prefer it over myspace, but I prefer myspace.

Hope this helps!

Facebook is much better than myspace. It doesnt contain any harmful spyware . You can not pick your own backgrounds, add music etc.

You can add all oyur friends and make new ones. you have a blog and you get autoomatic messages obn your facebook homepage telling you who did what and when. You can also join Groups which you can creat or join. I personally have joined 40 groups. They have a thing called a wall where people can leave comments too. You are able to creat notes and photo albums easily.

I have both, but I hardly ever use Myspace anymore. I am thinking about deleting it, since I get so many spam messages and friend requests from people I dont know.

Facebook is just a lot easier to use than myspace.

they are pretty much used for the same purpose, but i prefer facebook...it's easier to use without so many stupid graphics and flashy things all over the page that take hours to load. make a facebook account and you'll see if you like it =)
