do you just receive messages in facebook?

i have sent many messages in facebook, but no replies back. I don't see anywhere where it says messages. Do you just recieve messages and it appears when you open your account?

Yeah it's a recent change they made- where when you send people messages while they're online, they just act like chat messages, but if they're offline it goes to their inbox and they receive an email telling them they've got a new message.

There are two ways to access your messages...there is a link that says Messages on the left side of you screen when you are at the home screen (News Feed), and there is a message link at the top (towards the left) on any page.

If you're using mobile then you get message option on the top and bottom both and if you use lappy then the msg option is just next to friend reqst and before notification,,my id is [e-mail] you can try it if you want
