The primary identifier in the FaceBook database will be your e-mail address (provided at sign-up and confirmed at sign-up) and not your phone number.

Your phone number is related to your account information vis-a-vis lookup table - it is not evaluated in the authentication algorithm and is therefore not a viable means for authentication.

Well you must have created your account with a mobile phone so if you use a laptop or desktop computer it doesnt work because when you use a computer, you are supposed to write your email! So the solution is, LOGIN WITH A PHONE!
