Facebook deleted account.?

So I have had my new Facebook page for more than a year now and I have several business pages tied to it.
I have never had any issues with this page. I went to upload a video of my son playing basketball last week and they prompted me to upload a photo of myself.
They then kicked me out of the account pending "approval" of my photo for "security purposes".
What the heck?!

Just do something else now and be patient for that FB account to be restored.

You said you had a new Facebook Account did you by any chance Create more then 1 Account ? If so there is the Problem

Facebook does not Allow you to make more then 1 Account per TOS Terms of Service

For Security Reasons if Facebook Detects that more then 1 Account has been made they have to check out and see who you are to Prevent Fake people from stealing your Photos and Name ETC you dont have a Choice Unfortunately

The wait is gonna be 3-4 weeks Unfortunately Hopefully Facebook will Approve it and then Let you back in

While it is waiting Approval I advise you to do not make anymore Accounts if you do that will Hurt your chances at it being Approved it will get Denied

It's not been deleted, it's just temporarily locked.

Something has triggered an automatic security check, for them to verify you really are who you claim to be. As long as you have used your real identity & kept everything accurate, it should get sorted out in a while.

All you can do is wait for the admins to get around to checking things, which may take a few days.

Whatever you do, do _not_ try to get around it by making another account. Having more than one is against their rules and you will get either a long ban or just banned for life...

If you have ever had another account, that may be the trigger of this problem. A lot of people who have created more than one account in the past have found it's caught up with them.
