Does facebook relationship status really matter?

I've been with this guy for the past year. We had a rough patch so we decided to break up. We both changed our relationship status (not to single just blank) a month later we've gotten back together and he has yet to change it back. I've told him that it bugged me and I wanted him to change it back but he hasn't. I know it's dumb but it really bugs me.

In theory it doesn't matter.



However if it bothers you then he should just change it, it's not important and it will cause nothing but good for your relationship i suppose.

Honestly it would probably bother me as well. He might have forgotten in which case I would just send him a relationship request that way it will be there when he logs on. Or the next time the two of you are together get on your page and casually mention that you've changed yours and ask if he would like to change his. Hope this helps!

He may just have forgotten to change it, but if he is actually unwilling to change his relationship status it could mean he doesn't want people to know he is in a relationship. This could be a bad thing. Just gently ask him about it again, tell him it'd mean a lot to you, and would show that he was proud to be in a relationship with you.

Personally it wouldn't bother me but if it bothers you and he finds it easier to leave it than press a button there's something wrong there.
