it sounds like your school is not registered for Facebook, just try signing up for a normal account, not a school account.

you need to say that you are atleast 14 years old and you need to fill in all of the blanks when registering. If you say that you were born in 1993 or later, you will not be able to register

do you mean register, like sign up? i don't know why, since they let anyone sign up now.
if you mean signing in, you have to click the login button twice.
