what do you hate/what are disadvantages of facebook??

ive heard plenty of all the good stuff about it

im just curious before i create a profile

there's more advantages than disadvantages of facebook...i mostly like everything about it except for the "mini feed" and "news feed". on the main page when your friends sign in, all the new info about you shows up...like for example, "bob has changed his profile picture, bob is now friends with sally, bob added 'cars' to his interests.., etc". but thankfully you can adjust that in your privacy settings.

i have recently created a profile and although i was a bit sceptiical like you i have to say its turned out to be more than what i initially thought



its actually quite neat in the way that it works, u can have all your friends, a personal profile and all of that usual things u normally get but what i like is the wall to wall feature which basically means u can write on ur friends journals and leave each other cute messages



you can also have albums of u and ur friends



i dont think i dislike anything about it so far

I like the fact that it is a good way to keep in touch with close family and friends, because almost everyone has it.



But on your profile, your latest updates show up. For example for me, it would say something like:



SillyRabbit has changed her profile picture

SillyRabbit has joined the group I love animals

SillyRabbit and Sunshine are now friends



It's like your every move is being recorded and it's kind of annoying.

i hate it when you can't really put a layout of your choice or a music on your page to make it unique like myspace. Everyone's profile looks the same thats what sucks about it.

There's really nothing bad about it. No loss if you create a profile and don't like it .

The layout is pretty crap. Takes me quite a while to find stuff sometimes. But then most social networking sites are the same.

not being able to see people's profiles that aren't your friends. i am glad they can't write on each other's wall, but it would be cool if we could see people's profiles.

There's no real customization on it compared to myspace...and no bulletins..but beyond that, I love it :)

I love it, but the biggest disadvantage is the huge time-suck it becomes. You check it, and check it...and soon, you're "addicted" :-)

E-mails. I get e-mails for friend requests, wall writing and even messages. BUt you can adjust that, so don't worry.
