How do you remove yourself from a group on facebook?

Question

I pressed leave group around 20 times now and its not allowing me to leave it I'm in some self glorified groups I didn't even know I was a part of its quite sickening. How to remove myself from such pages.

Option 1:

1) Log into Facebook

2) Go to that Group

3) In the right hand column, click on "Leave Group"



Option 2:

1) Log into Facebook

2) On your Home page, in the 2nd box on the left hand column, highlight the group you want to leave and then click on the X to the left of the group.

3) In the popup box, click on "Remove" button.

after logging into facebook take a look at left pane of the your home page after your news feed, messages, events and friends you should see various groups you belong to there underneath them you should see a link (see all). click on it, you should then see a list of the groups just at their side you should see the X symbol like you want to close a page click on it the you should be leaving the group in no time

Exactly the same as removing a friend, it should say at the bottom of the group page

if you are admin of group then then click on see all group then there is option to delete group if its your

but if you are just member then click to leave group display at right hand side
