My step father insisted upon being my Facebook friend and if I delete him he will make a big stink next time I stop by the house..one of my posts started an argument so i want to block him from seeing my posts both previous and future posts now i know i can put except so and so but I dont want to have to remember to block him every time

This sounds like a tough one. This is because you have rejected everything you can do to keep him off your back like de-friending him, blocking him, deleting him, and so on. Unless you are willing to risk some unhappy times with him and also that the "force " is with you,you have a major issue with your step father and maybe your mother.

Click the little icon at the top of the news feed page with the little lock. Something will pop up saying "Who can see my future posts?" Click that, check off the list that says Custom, and then something will pop up letting you block someone from seeing your future posts. It won't unfriend or notify the person. Just type in the person's name and click save changes.

You can choose who sees what posts on facebook. Click on Privacy shortcuts and click on Who can see my stuff and choose who you want to see your posts.
