Question:
Can't see 'Sent Messages' on my facebook account?

I just sent a message to someone on Facebook, who doesn't happen to be a friend, and I got a confirmation box that said "Your message has been sent" but now I don't see it in my 'Sent' messages. What does this mean? Was my message sent at all? Can you block incoming messages from someone and would I still have gotten the 'message sent' confirmation? Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, your message was sent. I had the same question. Go to "messages" (left hand column), click on it and choose "sent". It should list all the messages you sent, whether or not they're on your friendlist. You should not be able to block someone and get the "message sent" confirmation because if they're blocked on your privacy settings, they wouldn't even show up as a choice to send a message to. I'm not sure what would happen if you sent a message and then later blocked the person.

As long as it says "Your message has been sent" right after you sent the message, then it has been sent. And no, unfortunately on Facebook, you can't view your sent messages. It used to be able to but since the layout changed we can't anymore :/
