I recently got an account and, through some random stupidity, I put that I was born in 1972 rather than 82. (Ugh!) Any way to change it to the correct year? Thanks!

nope, they don't let you change your birth year for "security reasons". they only let you change your month and day (right away)...to change your birthdate you'd have to go to the "birthday change request" page and submit it...it will take a while to change cuz they have to confirm it.

if you want to go the birthday change request form:

1) scroll down to the bottom of any page, and click on "help" at the very right

2) under the help topics, go to "profiles"

3) click on the question that says "how do i edit by birthday?"

4) from there, it will tell you what to do and go to the page

5) your done =)

Yeah, just hit the edit button by profile. There should be an option there. Somewhere in the editing area you should be able to edit your birth year.

If there isn't an option, just email the Facebook people. They tend to be really good about emailing back and answering your questions. It might take a day or two, but I think you can live with being 34 (35) for a few days.

Click on edit next to Profile at the top and you can change it there! No big deal :)
