Facebook Logging In Problem --PLEASE HELP--!?!?!?!?!?

Question

Ok well i tried to log in and then it gives me this message:

"Account Unavailable - Your account is temporarily unavailable due to site maintenance. It should be available again within a few hours. We apologize for the inconvenience."

I then press the login button 3 more times, all getting this same message. Then, on the fourth time, it tells me invalid username or password - even though i know it is the right password because just a second ago it told my my account was unavailable. I then press the login button 2 more times, all the the invalid username or password message. Then i press the login button again, and it goes back to the account unavailable message!!

After pressing the login button at least 20 times i finally managed to get in!! And once i logged in, i noticed that my home screen only had posts from my groups - no friends! So i go onto my profile and it says i have 0 friends even though i know i have like 150. I asked my friend if he could see me on his friends list and he said yes. Even my live chat at the bottom said "(0)".

I even tried to rest my password but it says "reset password unavailable", and i tried clearing my browser's cache and cookies!

Oh yeah, i forgot to mention that this has been going on since Friday!

Someone PLEASE help me with this issue.

I believe it has to do with the new 'live feed' update.

This has been happening with alot of people (myself included).

It says they're doing maintenance but what kind of maintenance shuts down a site for 4 straight days?

They do this time and time again - fix things that don't fixing.

WOW same thing is happening to me and im getting so pissed off. My friends were able to log on using my laptop, and their facebook is perfectly fine. I dont know whats going on, but did you get a message in your inbox about some video? I got a message in my inbox about some video, "hey you look great in this video" or something along those lines, and i knew it was a scam or a virus so i deleted it, but i dont know if that has anything to do with it.. This is really annoying though.

Same thing has been happening to me as well. For over a week now. It doesn't look like there is any way to even contact a facebook representative either. Please let me know if you find a solution or if it goes back to normal!
