Ok, Total newb question, my settings are Friends/Friends of Friends. I noticed today in the top right corner watching my friends activities like or post or comment on posts. I don't want my Friends looking at my activity outside of what I post on my Timeline. How do I set this?

the only way to prevent it is to add people to your restricted list

Unfortunately, yes they do.

I have my settings do my mom can't see my some of the things I post, BUT she can still see the things I like, comment on, and get tagged in.

Unfortunately, that's just one of the downsides of Facebook.

Go to privacy settings in the top right corner I think you go to the more tab first. Then they'll be several topics go to the one that fits your request find the part in the category you chose click on "friends of friends" and you'll be able to change it.
